The Vastrapur branch of the restaurant is set at two levels in a commercial complex with different dining rooms you can choose from. The one downstairs is more modest, enjoying popularity with students, office-goers and regular customers while the upstairs room is suitable for a casual family meal out with large windows looking out to green foliage, framed pictures on the wall and brickwork.

The restaurant has a menu covering a wide range of popular items – North Indian, Indianised Chinese, Western style baked dishes, pav bhaji, sizzlers, pizzas and snacks. The signature dish here is the dal baati. I ordered the special Rajasthani dish which came with baatis, dal and a churma– the baati was okay but the churma was melt-in-your mouth. From the wide range of North Indian dishes, I tried the paneer angara the paneer was chunky and had a nice texture, and the gravy had the required smoky flavor. The chole puri combo is also popular. I ordered an executive lunch pack for a takeaway, which was pretty substantial and value for money.
