Cafe Soul Square’s renovations have given it a fresh and more comfortable feel. As you enter the house that has been converted into a cafe you can choose from various kinds of sitting arrangements. There is now a retail section too added to the cafe.

The cafe offers many different kinds of dishes for breakfast. There is a good selection of egg items like stuffed french toast with cinnamon caramel sauce or masala Cheese, mince chicken fritata which is one of their house specials, garden Spanish omelette filled with veggies, their take on the egg Benedict which is with bacon or mushrooms, among others. Rice crepes with cheese herby vegetables or mushroom and cheese is a vegetarian option. Pancakes and waffles also form part of the menu. For the health conscious, the smoothie bowl is a good breakfast in a bowl with yogurt, museli, nuts, berries, fruits, mint and chia seeds. Cafe Soul Square is particularly known for its selection of beverages like mellow spiced and herbed green teas, signature health drinks, shakes, cool drinks, teas and coffees.
The house special here is their take on the Turkish pide, a flatbread with a delicious mince chicken, egg and cheese filling. They also have vegetarian options for this. There is a good selection of sandwiches, wheat base pizzas and flat breads. For snacking, the collection includes Singapore chilly prawns or tofu, herb roasted jacket potatoes, and fusion snacks like tacos with paneer tikka or chicken kheema khurchan.
Recently, Soul Square has added one bowl meals like spicy shrimp pasta bowl and kung pao bowl. Combo platters include butter paneer or chicken with khulcha. There are also taco,risotto and chimichuri bowls. For the health and fitness conscious, the quinoa shawarma bowl has paneer or chicken with vegetables, Mediterranean style seasonings and dips, while the Oriental black rice bowl has tofu, roasted vegetables, herbs and peanuts. The UnBEETable Burger is made with hummus, tahini and chickpea patty in beet bread, spinach bread with mushrooms, lettuce, bell peppers and cheese, and sour dough bread sandwich contains chicken or paneer with hummus and vegetables.
Leave room for their excellent desserts. The carrot cake has a nice texture and is packed with flavor, and is not over-sweet. Those who like chocolate will like the dark chocolate orange mousse cake.
