This café has the look and feel of a bungalow,with a garden and a patio lined with potted plants leading to the entrance. With inside and outside sitting, this is a bright, casual and pleasant place with a youthful vibe.

Café Tilla offers simple everyday food, in the owners’ signature style, often with healthy twists to the traditional recipe using alternative cereals like sattu flour, multi-grain or barley. The Barley, Apple and Pomegranate Salad and the Café Tilla House Salad are both Vegan and Jain friendly. The Dahi Sandwich is another house special with spiced curd used as a spread, and the Happy Cheese Sandwich with mozzarella, tomato and basil.The Pumpkin Soup is one of their signatures. The Paneer Samosa has a nice filling of house cheese. Mini Idli with curry masala is another nice small bite.

Some of the signature small plates you could try are the Methi na Pudla, Vitamin Bhel which is a healthy take on the regular bhel, Spinach Crepes and the tartines with either creamy mushroom or a beetroot, walnut and date spread. The Jacket Potatoes are perfectly baked, firm outside and meltingly soft inside, topped with beans and cheese.Multi-Grain Khichdi with kadhi is a worth having alternative to the regular khichdi, and the parathas here are made with sattu flour. Set Dosa comes with a house special Korma made with mushrooms and bell peppers. Since this is a café, the beverage selection is also good – the freshly pressed juices, teas, coffees, sherbets and smoothies are all pretty good.There is also a good choice of desserts. Leave room for their fresh homemade ice-creams – one of the unusual ones is Guava Ice-cream which is served with masala in the style of the sliced guavas sold by street vendors.
