Crafted Spoon is a vegetarian multi-cuisine restaurant with a focus on fusion food.
Located in a building that has many cafes and restaurants, Crafted Spoon has a prominent signboard over its entrance. With a glass frontage, it is well-lit with natural light by day and the scene can get lively at night in the building because of the many eateries here.
Crafted Spoon is largely about takes on popular foods associated with restaurants and cafes. You can choose from soups like minestrone, tomato basil, broccoli almond or corn cilantro. The tandoori starters like the paneer tikka and tandoori broccoli are pretty good go for the tandoori platter if you want to try the range. The Wonton is deep fried and crispy, with a spicy sauce. The panini and other sandwiches are pretty good you can choose Indianised fillings like pineapple, chhole and chatpata paneer or a Mexican inspired mix. Expectedly there is a choice of pastas, made the popular way with sauces like puttanesca that will appeal to those who like tomatoes and olives. The paneer mirch masala is one of the popular Indian mains.
The restaurant has some interesting vegetarian biryanis like dum biryani, besan gatta biryani and soya chaap biryani, which are pretty good. The mushroom or tomato coriander risotto are pretty good, but the star of the restaurant is the cheese risotto with a pleasant smoky flavor. For dessert, ask for their halwa of the Day.
