If you’re looking to start your day with some fresh and simple breakfast, Taaza Kitchen is where you need to be. As the name ‘taaza’ suggests, this restaurant is known for serving some delicious, fresh South Indian breakfast at a very reasonable rate and in a hygienic environment.
Taaza Kitchen, Madhapur, Hyderabad: Decor
With granite seating arrangements and high tables, this eatery has simplicity written all over its decor. The ambience is decent with a show kitchen partitioned by glass. Whether it is an RO water plant or their kitchen equipment, the restaurant has some of the tidiest setups in town. Huge displays of the menu card, along with a TV, are the only things that adorn their walls.

The restaurant’s menu is a limited one and rice combos are only available during lunchtime. Like any other tiffin centre, they also operate on a token system. We began with the humble idli. The restaurant offers the option of choosing the number of idlis one wants to have and bill them accordingly. The idlis are soft and taste great with the chutney.
The masala dosa with a dash of ghee was a bit too crispy as it was a bit over-cooked.The chow chow bath – a mix of khara and kesari bath (sweet) – was dis-satisfactory. While the khara version was good, the kesari bhat was a disappointment. It was too thin and less on milk, and hence, was not very smooth and tasty. The fact that it was low on sugar was the only saving grace.
The eatery scored exceptionally well in terms of the services it offered. The staff is always there for you and are ready with recommendations as and when required. Overall, the food was good but the challenge is to keep up with the quality. The restaurant’s reasonable price rates will definitely surprise you although the quantities they offered were less. But it’s the hygiene factor that makes Taaza Kitchen a hit and we are definitely coming back for that.
