Located on a main road in a villa-like setting, this is a good place for those who like a cafe with buzz. The glass walls allow light to course through the room in the day, lending a brightness to the interiors. A bar on one side and the replica of a tea cart in the cafe give it the feel of a trendy tea lounge. Black tiles set in a zig zag pattern on a white floor gives it a smart look, while a blue mosaic patterned floor takes away from the monotony. striped The sleek tables in woody or granite finishes are set with comfortable cushioned chairs.

As the name suggests, tea is the star of this multi-city café chain. If you like the Indian chai,they have masala,ginger, pudina(mint),elaichi(cardamom) and other spiced teas on offer. I tried the Villa Special, which was strong and invigorating. The range of black teas is pretty good from Darjeeling and Assam estate teas to blended teas like English Breakfast. You can also opt for black teas with cinnamon, ginger, chocolate, tulsi or mint. The green tea also comes in many interesting forms like Moroccan Mint or Kashmiri Kahwa. I tried their flower teas like Hibiscus – watch the petals form in the hot water, and down it before it starts getting bitter. Another novelty here is the Fruit Tisanes – the berry bunch is good for non-tea drinkers with flavour but no caffeine.

Besides the tea, they have a large food menu too from breakfast classics to desserts. I liked the Avacado Bocconcini Grilled Sandwich. The pastas and risotto are also popular.
