Laughter is part of Sitcom, a large open space with wooden tables and backless benches, reminding me of picnics in parks. The sides have orange sofas, complete with backrests, for the long haul. The walls have TV sets (playing sitcoms like Friends and The Big Bang Theory) and posters, unabashedly propagating their food. ‘What’s hot? We are’. ‘So, we got 7 cheese pizza’.

The menu is vast and some portions are large. And there are more additions on a tent card with names like Darth Noodles and Darth Maul Monster Shake. For the uninitiated, these are based on Star Wars: The Last Jedi; Chef Koushik is a huge fan.
My meal begins with a pretty tame, thick and chunky Broccoli and Cheese Soup. Going totally against my expectations, the soup is the colour of cheese with heads of green broccoli showing up around my bowl. My expectations of a green soup with cheese strings dangling from my spoon are dashed to the ground.
Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders literally has the tender chicken breast meat wrapped in bacon. Salty and crispedged, the bacon has flavours of natural smoke from the in-house wood fire oven. Since the chicken is so good, I opt to try some of the antibiotic-free Boneless Chicken Wings. While the meat is succulent, and the smokey sweet-tanginess in the barbecue sauce has organic jaggery. I do miss biting the meat off a bone, though.
Moving over to the dark side, I dig my fork into the Darth Noodles. Homemade and black, the noodles have activated charcoal, and are spicy. Blame it on the chilli sauce, ginger, burnt garlic and the ‘Darth’ tag.
Someone at the next table is busy trying to figure out how to eat a foot-high burger, weighing 1½kg. I’m trying to figure it out, too, but a black dome called the Darth Star Mexican Pizza arrives and is promptly fired up. When the blue flames show signs of abating, the chef cuts it open to reveal the veggies, paneer and cheese smoking from within. Let’s just say it’s different.
Then, there’s the Seven Cheese Pizza. Different, delicious, loaded, ji (DDLJ) Have you ever eaten black tender coconut ice cream? I just did. It has activated charcoal, a natural healing agent, and has a slightly sandy texture along with the creaminess.
