At the time of review, China House’s Asian menu is available at Tinello, a well-lit and high-ceilinged restaurant with large windows looking out to a lawn. In keeping with the spirit of Italian food which is known for its simplicity rather than elaborate preparation, the restaurant looks fresh and smart with a corner that has shelves stacked with glass and china objects. The highlight is the open show kitchen where you can watch the drama of cooking in progress and interact with the staff.

They have good dim sum and a variety of other Chinese starters. The aromatic green curry has a well-balanced Thai flavor profile, crisp and sharp, and goes well with the jasmine rice. seasonal vegetables and is one of their signature dishes. Stone bowl spicy potato is another of their vegetarian dishes.
Among the non-vegetarian dishes, the kung pao chicken and sliced lamb with onion, chilli flakes and cumin are worth having. The prawn with lantern chillies, mushrooms and bamboo shoots is one of their seafood specials. You can pair these with carrot corn and peas fried rice or the stir-fried noodles with bell pepper and cabbage.
The star of the show is the Local Lamb shank hot pot with fragrant coriander buns. The lamb is fork-tender with the meat easily coming off the bone.
For those who prefer Indian food, their house specials are Chettinnad prawns, murg dum biryani and Awadhi Gosht, and they also have a good number of vegetarian dishes. The Italian dishes here are excellent with the pizzas being must haves.
