Fisherman’s Wharf is known for its Goan cuisine and fresh sea food. Perfectly located in the suburbs of Gaichibowli with an easy access to the IT and the residential corridor, the joint is ideal for hosting parties, get-together and informal meetings over some amazing cocktails and lip-smacking fare. Except for the beach, one can expect a little Goa in the restaurant’s ambience with live Goan band and all the flamboyance that is sure to mesmerize those looking for a beachy experience in the middle of the city.

Spaciously built in a traditional Goan-style architecture, the joint has both indoor and outdoor dining spaces spread over two levels. Just as the facade of these manors are attractive, the interiors make a much more impressive sight with hanging lanterns, drum pendant lights, jute coil wrapped pillar’s, cane recliners and cutglass turtles. The interiors are simple yet elegant and the seating space is generous with over 400 in capacity. It is by far the largest seating restaurant in Hyderabad.Their centrally located bar is the center of attraction with an exquisite collection of spirits.

This all-day restaurant serves delightful Goan, Continental, Oriental and Indian fare with plenty of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. From the Goan menu, the Crab Xec-Xec, a Goan specialty cooked in roasted spices and grounded coconut and the Rawa Fried Kingfish – kingfish coated in semolina and pan fried – are a must try for sea food lovers.

Vegetable Xacutti with an assortment of veggies sauteed with coconut and Goan spices is truly made to perfection. A favorite on every table is the Prawn Curry rice and the Prawn Balchao. One can also savour North Indian specialties like Tandoori Chicken, Kadhai Chicken or the oriental preparations such as the Sichuan Chicken and Hunan Pork.

For desserts, the Goan specialty dessert Bebinca served with a vanilla scoop, a type of pudding with seven layers, is a must. The Fisherman’s Wharf traditional Apple Pie too is as delicious as it can be. The staff here are friendly, accommodating and well informed.
